FIBER = this internet provider is a SCAM !!!

Dear all,

Regarding FIBER nederland, we had our worst experience with a service provider, paying now monthly this company WITHOUT having the internet (3 weeks now), screwing their customers through the general conditions of the contract (article 14.4 watch out), NOT answering or calling you back (as promised, we called ouselves hundred of times on a daily basis), luring potential clients with attractive internet prices (very aggressive offers but NOT performing the contract) and deceiving people ("we will send a technician", "we will give you compensation", "we will put you on priority list", "we will..." etc). Please note the company has an army of call center operators NOT in a position to give any solution but employed only to hear and report internally.... pathetic as it ends up being very frustrating for everyone !

To all possible customers of fiber, be carefull and watch out the terms and conditions, especially article 14.4 of fiber. Fiber can leave their customers without providing internet for 3 months before letting them cancel the contract. Imagine dealing 1 month without internet trying to solve the issue (coming from Fiber network), then 3months during which you keep paying Fiber without internet and finally, you need couple of weeks to install a new internet provider connection. In other words, even if fiber does NOT provide internet (issue on fiber network) customers keep paying .... This is how Fiber is making money through their attractive internet offers....

14.4 Wanneer Fiber Nederland wegens een niet toerekenbare tekortkoming voor een periode
langer dan drie maanden achtereen niet aan zijn verplichtingen tot het leveren van de Dienst kan
voldoen, zijn zowel Fiber Nederland als de Klant bevoegd de overeenkomst door middel van een
schriftelijke verklaring op te zeggen. De Klant dient Fiber Nederland dan wel alle mogelijkheid
gegeven te hebben tot herstel van het functioneren.
